Smiling Hill Farm

The BEST chocolate milk anywhere, hands down. It's almost like drinking a milkshake. It's so thick and chocolatey, we love it. Their ice cream is also good. The cows are cute and you can go up and let them and say hello. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the property is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Great for kids or adults.

Smiling Hill Farm is a little gem worth visiting with the family and kids if you’re in the area. I’ve been bringing my 5 and 3 year old here since they were born and we love stopping here for lunch and quick saunter through the farm. They have a great menu of sandwiches and lunch items that give you a nice selection to choose from. The pulled pork sandwich with sauerkraut was my most recent try and it hit the spot. There’s also a massive ice cream selection with tons of flavors and a bunch of canned and pickled items to pick up as well. If you need to get the kids out of the house for the afternoon this is a great place to do it! Stop by and support this wonderful little farm if you get the chance.

Smiling Hill Farms is the perfect family spot. You are able to see some of the farm for free but if you want to enjoy all the animals there's a fee. Everything is well laid out and the farm is deceivingly large. We were able to feed almost all the animals and get very close to them. Check their Facebook page they feature their animals and any new babies on the farm! The ice cream parlor is delicious and plenty of seating to enjoy the view

Never actually been to the farm myself but saw their milk is sold at the Augusta and Waterville hannafords locations in Maine! This is so Amazing, loving this sustainable and locally sourced option for milk and can’t believe all the flavor options! Hoping to see them in the Skowhegan and Newport hannafords soon too!!!

I love Smiling Hill Farm! I've visited several times in the past few months to get their milk and ice cream and it's always been so good. Their chocolate milk tastes exactly like melted ice cream. Their lunch menu is also pretty good and affordable. Hope they bring back the blueberry milk in store. Also, the milk-a-cow day was so fun and free!
